I happen to be a HUGE fan of football and found it to be pretty ironic that Adonis says people are wasting their time watching sports while he has spent the time equivilent of 498 NFL games, or 31 years of regular season games on getbig trying to convince everyone how smart he is.

Ah good point. Maybe I should've titled the thread "Is the time Adonis spent making 12,950 posts on Getbig the biggest WASTE of human time?"

I'm glad you called him on that. I'm a huge baseball fan and football too.

Besides, I can attest personally (as I'm sure many others here can too) that sports has been a tremendous positive impact on my life.

And I have 23. I am on getbig for the same reason I watch sports, for entertainment. I'm wondering what Adonis consider's his time spent on Getbig if he doesn't see it as entertainment.

Everyone finds entertainment in different things. I would even consider watching certain types of sports a waste of MY time because I find no entertainment value in them. I just think its funny that Adonis is being so judgemental of what others like to watch or do for entertainment when he spends so much time on the internet, a pastime many might see as an incredible waste of time.

The Badgers should do quite well this year. I'm sure I'll make it down to Madison for a few games, they are a ton of fun! Although adding a 4 hour round trip to madison and back means I have to wast almost 8 hours of my life on a single game

the games against the Illini and OSU should be very good, they've got them at Camp Randall, right?

Adonis just started that thread because he is trying to belittle the intelligence of people who play sports and enjoy them. Most people who watch football, baseball, basketball at one time played those sports. Adonis has an inferiority complex likely brought on by people who he sees as being physically superior to him, mostly athletes, so his defense mechanism is to try to convince everyone how big of a waste time sports are. He could've picked 1000 different activities such as playing video games, riding motorcycles, boating, fishing, hunting OR MAKING 12500 POSTS, THE MAJORITY OF WHICH ARE COPIED AND PASTED, ON AN INTERNET FORUM....... etc, but people who partake in these types of activities don't make him feel inferior.

Oh, and playing video games is absolutely not a waste of time if you enjoy doing so.

I'm am not second guessing the time I spend watching sports any more than I second guess the time I spend up north fishing or playing PS3 or any of the other things I do simply because I enjoy it. What is it that you do for entertainment?

it doesn't matter which box you are staring at, it's a waste of time. Time you'll never get back. Atleast with getbig you can laugh and learn some things, sometimes.
