National Enquirer suddenly a powerhouse

First they destory Edwards' political future, then this...

The ultra-conservative governor’s announcement about her daughter’s pregnancy came hours after The ENQUIRER informed her representatives and family members of Levi Johnston, the father of Bristol’s child, that we were aware of the pregnancy and were going to break the news.

Interesting, and we all know the Enquirer is a rag, but is often right, notably about the Edwards affair:

"Palin planned for the wedding to take place right after the Republican National Convention and then she was going to announce the pregnancy.

But Bristol, 17, refused to go along with the plan and that sparked a mother-daughter showdown over the failed coverup."

Sounds lovely, just lovely :-\

10+ years ago, they exposed frank gifford in a similar manner - got him to deny it, then published the pics to 'presenve their reputation'.

If this is true, she has lost them many votes except for mad fundys.

Denied her kid rights to birth control, wanted to forced her to drop out of high school, force her to get married after the GOP thing, all to preserve her reputation, while the kid said no.

If it's true, there will be some backlash. That is epic and horrific mothering, only a religious zealot lunatic would excuse.

Either way, it's a blow once printed with their huge circulation. I hope it is not true for the girls sake, that is a terrible thing for her.

they do their homework and get multiple sources on everything.  They aren't restricted by laws that investigators are, and they have no problem paying for information, as they did with Edwards.  They got someone in his inner circle to tell then where and when he was meeting baby mama.

What a mess this campaign is.  I'm listening to FOX radio, and they're celebrating how scared the Dems are of Palin, saying she just won it for them, etc.  They're not touching a single issue breaking.

And Mccain lost 20 electoral votes on the state-by-state polling.
