I don't think any of them are repetitive.

It's a historic day.... i mean, there have been 10 or 15 breaking stories on her today.

We will NEVER see another day like this with any major candidate.  Vetting will be done from now on.

Except for all the baby ones, they are different topics yes.

It has been a stack of news about her if people take the time to read them and the confirming links.

Still a consolidated thread would be my preference. Eaiser to keep track of the "Palin-fest"

When I get time this weekend I'm going merge quite a few of them.  Most of them are pretty much repetitive and people are complaining.

I will unmerge any threads that got merged with different points.  This does not happen very often, let the people make their threads, this is what's on their mind and I'm against limiting these individual debates on Palin by merging.  All the mods signed onto the idea there would be no merger nazi modding. refer to the original mod agreements in your pms.  The day will happen when a controversy has everyone letting loose on a dem.  If the point posted and angle are the same, feel free to merge them, other than that leave them as per our original agreement.  It is safest to lean away from merging as merging was used in general to silence.  packing everything into one thread was a very effective way of doing that so it's safe to lean away from going down that road.

LOL @ your conservative moderator BB believing "Most of them are pretty much repetitive" when there are many different topics, angles and stories.

Overmoderation makes this place suck.  Making the threads into unreadable clusterfvcks is lame.  Having a "palin hatred" thread with 75 pages is completely worthless.  But I think that's what your partisan moderator BB has in mind.  Perhaps any moderator decision which can majorly obfuscate issues by combining them should be assigned to the moderator without a political interest in it.

Besides, all the palin news broke yesterday, and most of the threads have fallen.  There have been maybe 3 new threads on her today, and she's the speaker tonight.  She managed to go 5 mintues without a scandal breaking.

I wonder if BB woudl want all the B. Hussein threads merged, if 20 scandals came out on him, in the same day? ;)

Do you consider "Palin's allegience to Alaskan separist party" and "Palin troopergate" and "Palin's anti-semetic Pastor" to all be the same topic?

I think they are 3 scandals, and get 3 threads.  When Obama had the Rev Wright issue, the Willian Ayers issue, and a silly tax plan, we didn't merge those.

Of course, they didn't make Sarah Palin look bad.  And that's something you don't like.  You much enjoyed seeing multiple obama-bashing threads, and didn't complain, or merge, then.

Not punishment, but it really does clutter the board.  It's pretty obvious. 

And yes, this kid constantly just flat out makes stuff up.  People should just address his so-called facts and question his sources.
