Was what I said last night.
I was no fan of her, but when she came out the female part of me couldn't help but smile big and think "you go girl", just came over me, didn't expect it. Think many women, even hard lefters - would've felt that a bit too - and undecideds may have really been swayed. Just a gut female reaction.
But IMO the snide bashes, especially the "heal the world and part waters vibe" were ANTI getting the female vote. Very bad move from her [male prolly
] handlers. Smiling sweetly, claiming hockey mom, leave my preggo kid alone which Obama backed, then come out and get snide and attack many times. Doesn't match, and I think will rub many females wrong.
Yes, this is from a
left blog, can't find a better link. Some womens vote group did a [very] small poll after and women held a more negative view of her, even though she spoke well. Said the sarcasm, being snippy did it. Whoever is handling her and wanting the hockey mom and female vote, could add some hockey moms advice, not just suited up talking head guys.
All sides should be able to agree, we women are touchy
