I'm not really a big reader, but I'm trying to stop watching so much tv and start reading more books...someone give me a suggestion of something good to read.

Dune by Frank Herbert.  Best SciFi ever, will make you think.

"The Hiding Place" by Corrie Ten Boom - true story about a woman (and her family) in Holland that hides Jews during WWII, eventually gets caught and is sent to a concentration camp.

"The Eye of the World" by Robert Jordan - fantasy - first book in "The Wheel of Time" series....kings, queens, monsters etc....if you read the first one you will more than likely read the others.

If your looking for a comedy book that will have you laughing till you cry please look for Tucker Max's "I hope they serve beer in hell" That book is AMAZING!!!! I have 2 copies.. one i read at work and one I lend out. It never gets old... you can read some of the stories on Tuckermax.com They are making a movie about it soon... its a guys real life stories that are just crazy.. everything from dumping a bottle of lube in a girls ass and having her shit all over him to almost getting killed in a redneck bar in Texas... check it out :)

Aside from that I have really enjoyed Dan Brown's Books Angels and Demons, Da Vinci Code, Digital Fortress, and Deception Point.
