I went to one of these with some friends back in the 80's.  They were going around touching people and they would just start laughing.  They called it being drunk in the spirit or something.  I DID NOT DO THAT SHIT. and just looked at the guy like an idiot.  I couldn't wait to get the hell out of there.

A friend who is a Christian said she saw on television a pastor and his church that were laughing hysterically.  The pastor would yell "Fresh!" and people would laugh.  This continued.  She said it freaked her out.
