i live in charleston wv where they are having this years strongman competition. I dont know much about this stuff but is Mariuz(sp??) the worlds strongest man. it seems like he always dominates this competition but he is truly the strongest man in the world? ?? by the way watching the competition is really cool and the guys are way bigger in person.

Please dont forget Bruce Wilhelm. Competed in collegiate wrestling and track and field, as well as being an olympian in weightlifting, and track. Was the first winner of the WSM as well. Twice. Jason

Poundstone has come up very quickly and for him to place second so soon in his career is phenomenal. I think he has the potential to show us the speed of mariusz combined with the power of Savickas. It would be a world of effort on his part but I think he can do it.

There's also WWE Superstar, Mark Henry, whom FLEX magazine rated the second strongest man of all time (I think Zydrunas Savickas was ranked #1).

backlift of anderson is controversial . in fact they come with a new strongest man every ten years or so . why not the weakest man instead.
