Justifying bad mothers

The main reason that Sarah Palin is popular with the base is because just like a lot of them, she's a terrible parent.  But she's got an "80 %" approval rating, so that means she's ok. and if she's ok, then  the moms whose kids aren't pregnant by self-proclaimed rednecks, and whose husbands don't have problems with alcohol must be more than ok.   

Douchebag Repugs run around whining about "the children"... blaming the education system, etc.  Doing anything to not acknowledge their own failures.
