no 36,400 is the base. but hears the trick. 99% of them are transfers from another agency. so nobody gets that pay because none of us would leave our other jobs. plus, air marshalls are hard to get into, which means you must be the best at your previous agency. why would someone leave a police sargent position for 29k? the wouldnt they would transfer to the fed's sv j band
