Are u kidding me? WTF were they thinking with this death magnetic shit. it sucks. Im a big of a fan as anyone else... but give me a break. Its not their fault, they just arent like this anymore (tho its 2008 rock am ring)

they stopped even being "metal" after Master of Puppets (1986)
even before that they were just an average, overrated thrash metal band.

come on... they had PLENTY of great songs dude. Load was an awesome album... re-load had good shit on it to. I mean if u are "that" hardcore old school fan whatever......... ::)

Apparently you HAVEN'T listened to Death Magneitc, it's the best thing they have done since And Justice for ALL....

No, your right I havent. Typically when i hear 3 shit  songs from a new album being played on the radio, i usually dont waste my money on the cd.

Death Magnetic is a really good CD all around, and one of the rare few thact actgually get s better every time you listen to it.

Seriously man, put it in your car and crank it, you will like it. The only complaint I can think of is the drums sound a little tinny in some songs, and I know it's because they didn't want to get hit with the overly produced criticism, but it could have had slightly more bass in the drum tracks.

Aside from that, Metallica and the new Slipknotn are also great songs for the gym
