This guy, with a few tweaks here and there, could be a real threat.

Yes. You are right.
But the tendency of now is extreme too.
How come tiny Darrem charse could kick his ass?
I understand that Melvin was good and he deserved to win the title.
But, Darrem beating Marcos was pure joke for me.

from what ive seen i cant see why darrem didnt win. sure he's smaller than the others but he holds his own in all the poses and shows a much more pleasing, balanced physique than them in certain others.

we've got to get back to the "best physique"...

yes, the best can be the biggest, but it could also be the smallest. this approach where a competitor gets awarded for muscle mass is completely missing the point.

you put mass on in certain areas to balance the package.

where there are several guys scoring the same on all other aspects, the biggest guy wins. ONLY THEN.

thats why for me, dex jackson is the best BB currently...perhaps ever. Levrone was best in his day. Labrada and Haney went neck and neck.

guys like flex wheeler, nasser, king, freeman etc dont rate in my book as they used implants, synthol or have glaring injuries. Thats why marcos to me shouldnt or cant win because he is lacking one calf- amongst other issues.

but hey, thats why we like GB.com everyone has an opinion, right?

Is it me, or does anyone else see what looks to be an injection mark on Marcos' left bicep when viewed from the front?

No. It's his tan. Whoever did his color did a really bad job. His conditioning would've been showed off more had he been darker. And I agree, top 3.

Darrem beating Melvin? No way. Melvin clearly had the best package that night. Also, Darrem won the master's division over bigger guys like Freeman and Stubbs. The top 5 of this show was judged well.

IFBB judging criteria is going toward gay taste recently.
I miss real bbing.
HUGE, CUT powerful MUSCLE should be rewarded at first always.
Proportion and gay dance should be at last.

Marcos will be at the Olympia fair (he is an BSN Athlete), so if you want to see him between big boys you can  do it next week

Here you can see two pics from 2007 in his debut in Santa Susana - Espaņa
