Hell, 6 pm is Mccain's bedtime.

He's fast approaching the average mortality rate for men.

Flat out, he's too old for such a demanding job.

The mind is willing yet the flesh is weak.

Is there anyone out there with enough character to admit this?

We have precedent:  Ronald Wilson Alzheimers Reagan.

Does anyone remember what happened when Reagan was zoning in and out of reality in his second term (he was about Big Mac's age)?

His people traded arms with our enemies in Iran.  That's treason.  That was a product of an old feeble president not capable of meeting the demands of the job.

Defeated the Russians? hahahaha was that with the other super ex presidents?

He rebuilt the economy by tripling the national debt.  That's a spicey meatball.

Reagan's unprecedented peacetime military spending had little if anything to do with the Clinton boom.

These tired rightwing cliches really should die a quiet death.

I never said rebuilding the military was tied to the economy....it was a neccesary thing to do. Carter let it die. Carter's policies  should die a quiet death but its the stupidty that keeps on giving.

You must be referring to that tired old line about the Reagan tax cuts from the early 1980s causing the Clinton Boom of the 1990s.

Tell me HH, did Nixon's tax policies cause Reagan's economic "miracle?"

I have no idea......Decker u think Reagan was a failure right? Ur on the wrong side of history, no matter what u do. Reagan bankrupted the Soviets, outmanuevered them and repaired an economy that Carter left in shambles.

Reagan raised taxes 7 times in his 8 years on office including the largest tax increase in history.
