This is in quicktime, so you may have to be patient to open it. This is from 2007, before the Ironman.

Watch as Ron Avidan sees who is at Max Muscle and Gold's in Venice, and also who is eating a "Bob Bowl" at the Firehouse bodybuilding restaurant!

Did you sniff his seat after he got up or did you try and eat his leftover food?

I care, because all the Americans measure their food in "cups" for some reason and I haven't got a fucking clue what the hell they're on about.

not that simple.  an ounce is a measure of weight, 16 ounces to a pound.  but a fluid ounce is a measure of volume, 8 fluid ounces to a cup.  a cup is a measure of volume, but a cup does not weigh a half of a pound.

using any of a number of food nutrition websites, one cup of cooked long grain rice is about 158 grams

The Bob Bowl is very good!  I have one almost every time I go to the Firehouse!

For those that do not know, the Firehouse is a restaurant about two blocks from Gold's Gym Venice. At one time, Powerhouse Gym Venice was right across the street. Max Muscle Venice is behind it, about a block, where MadMax usually resides.  The Firehouse also serves regular food, aka hamburgers, etc, and looks like a normal place, nothing fancy.

It is just a place where many bodybuilders came to eat, and thus has a 'bodybuilders' style menu.

In Redondo Beach, the Rocky Cola Cafe also has a 'clean athletes style' menu that is very good, and we still go there to eat once in a while. That is about a 1/2 mile or so from Gold's Gym Redondo Beach, which is right on the ocean.

That place has the best Fat Free Brownies in the world.  Awesome.  I love that restaurant.  They have several of them around So. Cal.  I tried to get them to open in Hawaii.
