McCain's Bad Week
« on: September 18, 2008, 07:47:07 PM »
Friday, September 12:

His running mate, being interviewed for the first time since being chosen, utters the infamous phrase "In what respect, Charlie?" in addition to saying we might have to go to war with Russia over Georgia.

Meanwhile, his campaign is getting hammered over the "sex-ed" ad and their fake outrage over "lipstick on a pig."

Saturday, September 13:

The first five minutes of the season debut of Saturday Night Live totally eviscerates Sarah Palin. 10 million see it live. Within 24 hours, more than 50 million have seen it. Sarah Palin has begun to become a national joke.

Sunday, September 14:

Word begins leaking that Lehman Brothers employees are being told to come gather up their belongings... a deal to save their company has fallen through. Rumblings about Merrill Lynch as well.

Monday, September 15:

The stock market loses nearly 5% of its value in the worst trading day since 9/11. McCain utters the infamous words "the fundamentals of the economy are strong". Later, he exacerbates the mistake by trying to say that, by fundamentals he meant "workers".

Tuesday, September 16:

McCain's post-convention bounce is completely gone, as Obama pulls even in most tracking polls. One of his more prominent surrogates says, on National TV, that he is incapable of running a large corporation.

Wednesday, September 17:

The stock market loses another 5% of its value as insurance giant AIG gets a $85 billion swing loan to stay solvent. One of his surrogates (Cantor) gets eaten alive by Tweety, of all people. His running mate's email account is hacked into.

Thursday, September 18:

He practically declares that Spain is part of the "axis of evil", and refuses to admit the mistake. Instead, he talks TOUGHER, possibly creating an international incident. His running mate refers to the ticket as the "Palin-McCain" team. Finally.. he suggests that he would fire the SEC chairman if he were President, something that is unconstitutional for a President to do.

He has fallen behind in every tracking poll and is losing ground in solidly red states.

Hahaha ... she really called it the Palin / Mccain ticket?  Well, the woman is ambitious if nothing else.
I told ya, ...she's got the biggest bet going in the death pool. She's probably praying about it right now.

The fundamentals of the economy are so sound that we're having to bail everybody out.
