people make it to much of the equation. eating like a bodybuilder isnt a bad thing if you eat healthy training 4 times a week for a hour does not take alot of time. Most people spend that hour on the couch during the week anyway. now when your waiting around all weekand for that workout and do not go out with your wife, gf and kids to enjoy like then its to far.

you can live life, have a career,a family and even compete when time permits. the one thing that annoys alot of people is that they think everything has to go perfect in bodybuilding and in life nothing goes perfectly as planned. bob chic talked about this he said he used to go away places and only see the hotel. why workout and look great if you cant go out and enjoy life.

i always admire the bodybuilders who have a faimly, bussines and a life. alot of drug free bb's are good examples such as dave goodin, jan harris. also guys like mark dugdale and branch warren are good examples. branch warren talks about how he cant sit around all day waiting for his next meal. he has a degree and two companys. then there is guys like melvin anthony who say they dont wanna get off the couch after working out.

I think that is what happens to alot of people.  They start to workout to enjoy life more, be stronger, get girls, etc, yet some people end up losing themselves and the gym becomes the mean to an end.  Instead of working out to live better they live to workout.  Sad. :-\
