I used to like listening to Savage.

Whether you're a Repugnant or Democreep, he's entertaining.

I was always laughing in the back of my head whilst listening to him;

despite his staunch neo-conservativism, he was taking naked baths with Alan Ginsberg during his younger years.

He was a real beatnik.

And now you know why a neo-con would write so many books about alternative medicine.

He's a textbook liberal, although if you state that he's a socialist or communist, you'll have a good argument.

Do you live in this country (USA)?  Or are you living elsewhere?

liberals want the government to help people more, which is what the clintons did, something that you cannot argue.  In fact, i will not acknowledge any false accusations you may have of Bill Clinton doing something non-monica lewinsnki related that was bad for the country.  If we chided every president that made money after they left office, there would be a lot more complaints.  You just choose to target clinton because he is a LIBERAL.  You make liberals out to be a bad word.  A liberal is not a bad word.  It's hate mongers like you that made people think any democrat was some sort of hippie.  I could list a whole lot of things that having liberals means, one of which is the fact that we're allowed to write what we want, something that a lot of you REPUBLICANS don't want us to have.  Basically, you're arguing that because bush made us pay more money so his friends could get rich (???) that he's a liberal.  This is false.  People have been making money by being chums of the president so long as there's been a president.  DuPont made a ridiculous fortune off of gunpowder and we don't hear anyone complaining about George Washington being buddy buddy with their family.  You're like the kid who acted like he was the expert in bench press after he did 200 lbs.  There were many people before the kid who benched 200, and there will be many kids after him who bench 200, just as you think that George Bush was the "only" war profiteerer president.  In conclusion:
1. A textbook liberal wants more government control over industries, schools, ect and wants to REDUCE war spending and profiteering.
2. A textbook conservative wants less government control over industries, schools, ect and wants to INCREASE war spending and profiteering.
3. A bigot/hate monger such as yourself might as well go onto Rush Linbaugh's (or whatever his last name is) website and post there about how he hates liberals and obama.

Nah, Palin's in the news tonight.

her pastor of at least 10 years was a 'witch hunter' and said all sorts of crazy things about God and other groups of people.

it's her own little reverend wright.

You see, this is what happens when you follow a crazy ass black Pastor in ALASKA...going around looking for witchcraft in AFRICA. The cold had effed with his head. A reasonable person would have contacted the local shaman and worked side byside using the Shaman and Christianity to combat this "witchcraft", almost in a sense using a form of Voodoo or Candobla.

Rev Wright was a lot more sensible... this mess with her Pastor and her beleifs kinda lets you into the Yahoo lifestyle she has, she maybe hot, but just like Halle Berry, this chick is nutjob.

The people who voted Bush are just as bad as him. You can thank thoses guys from Ohio, the bible belt and elsewhere, where they contribute less in terms of tax revenue, but have a bigger chance for fucking over our country due their stupidity.

Even the most die hard Repubs see what a total fraud GW is now.  This is the biggest knife in the back of the American people in history.

Reading all this I suggest that you better talk (or gossip) about bodybuilding.
People here have no idea what "socialist", "conservative", or "liberal" actually means.

Bush believes in bigger government - that's what liberals do.

7+ years of the Bush presidency proves my statement - government is bigger and more invasive today than it was the day before he took office.

He's a liberal and although I do not know how you self-identify politically, I do know that you're in denial about the evidence.

Well, if we are a Socialist States of America, then Obama should love to lead it. This is what he was wanting to turn this country into all along.

Exactly...the jackass has consistently talked about "economic equality"...

tre, you're a fascist idiot. It is Bush and his cronnies who are acting out a conservative dream not a socialist one. It is only genuine socialism which will be able to save this country.

Why hasn't McCain thrown Bush under the bus?

he did on friday - claimed the admin, congress, and obama did nothing to stop the financial mess, when only mccain wanted to stop it.

i think if he's down a few points at the end, he'll get desperate and fire more shots at Bush.  When Obama dumps Biden and grabs hilary, Mccain will slip down some more.

Might look back to the Clinton congress in the mid '90's. When they over ruled red lining on home mortgages/loans and home insurance. Meaning that people in low income neighbors were OK'ed for loans of most any kind. Even if  with a history of being unemployed on a regular bases. That would be mostly minority loans. Cheap money times. Little or zero down on a new home, but not always buying in their lower income areas. They wanted the middle class dream of a big house in a better neighborhood. Now it has come to bite banks and mortgages concerns in the ass. Starting as a false building boom, which carried through to the present when the bubble burst. Clinton and Bush administrations  have equal blame, with lack of finance control. And letting big money and business have their way with the public.

EXTREME LEFT WING liberal democrats seem to be pushing towards socialism while some of the European nations are trying to get away from it. All democrat liberals are not extreme left wing, as are most republicans  not RIGHT WING EXTREMEST. There are moderate and conservative voters in both party. Those are the votes most sought after by both party's at election time. General rule of thumb: Democrats:more government influence on you and me. Including higher taxes and entitlements. Republican: less government & taxes. Some where in the middle is the answer for a better country.

Any one interested in the conspiracy blame game, than do a search on the Bilderberg group, Trilateral's and Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). Shadow government? Who knows, but someone has to be steering the ship of state rather than those in elected office. They all seem numb from the neck up.

Bush had a higher point grade average in college than both Gore and Kerry. Gore being the lowest, by far, of either Bush or Kerry.

As I've said before, though, with the left-wing liberal Democrats, I *know* what I'm getting.

With the left-wing liberal Republicans like Bush, however, I don't know I've got until they stick me with the bill.

JPM - If Bush was really a Republican - in action, not name - we'd be a lot better off now, I have no doubt about this.

You're correct about moderates being our only saviors, though.

Bloomberg said something great this AM.  Not an exact quote but basically:  Many conservatives are going more right wing and many liberals are going more left wing, what we need are more moderates to emerge and agree on solving problems.  He seems like a moderate democrat with great grounding, am I wrong?

"It is only genuine socialism which will be able to save this country."
Someone posted this above.  Wow...how anti-American.  I argue that pure socialism is wrought with problems.  I also argue that unchecked capitalism can also be disasterous.  The answer lies with combining the best of both systems.  Semi-capitalism with safegards.  This is not what Obama wants to do.  He is a socialist.  Tre, you have it exactly right with Bush....disaster and a wolf in sheeps clothing.

You have to wonder why the Dems have refused to adopt a moderate party platform?

Is it arrogance and ego that keeps them from paying attention to what's going on in the country, or does the DNC exist solely for the purpose of making its key players rich?

Democrats can never adopt a moderate line because of the big money influence of powerful left wing people with socialism in mind. George Soros comes to mind with his moveon.org blogs. Huffington is also a poisoned influence on America. Can include MSNBC & NBC and 90%  of the elite left winged controlled media. Democrats can not be more moderate, they have a load money and power gun aimed at their heads.

There are two main factor doing battle with-in the democratic party, among some lesser others. Things you do not hear or read about on cable news or in the papers. Clintons made a lot of enemy's during their eight years. Those two almost looted the DNC of all the funds. Legal bills alone cause a lot of problems. The extreme left wing has control now. Main reason Hillary did not get the call to run for president. Or for that matter, vice president. In political life, it was her turn. Obama is from, and taught by, the Chicago Daily democratic machine. They play tough and dirty. Obama is the left wings socialist person of choice this election. But some how, something tells me, he will lose.

Something like the Reagan factor. People said they would never vote for Reagan, but once in the voter booth, they did. Those were Reagan democrats. Think the same thing is going to happen this election. Wave the flag for Obama in public. Vote the opposite way behind the curtain in the voters booth. There may be much more McCain people than America thinks.
