I have one morning and one day up until tea time free. Any suggestions as to where I should visit or what to do? (apart from Vatican. Hope to go there definately)

ive gone to rome many times and did a semesters abroad there while in university
i reccomend u go to eat at alfredo e ada in vatican
one of the best trattorias ive ever been too

Will bear it in mind. I know a lot have travelled here and am keen to see as much as i can in my spare time there (which is limited)

Well i am going cos my sister is getting married and will have a few spare hours and would like to see some of the world since i never travel.

Well, if you have time to spare, do some research. Rome has a shitload of things to see. Don't have a lot of time? Find a bar/pub (not a club) and sit down and have a few drinks and ask the locals what they would recommend. The latter has never failed me. Have a blast.

Seems to make sense. I work in a real smart bar now iwth good respectable people. Its surrounded by hotels, tourists always come up to me chatting asking where to go.

I only found out a few hours ago i was going...saying that Im sure my dad wouldnt mind me having a walk about with him lol while my sisters all go do fucking girly shit lol

Sadly i dont speak any italian...my mum and sister speak a bit though i dont speak one iota
