Sure, there is a small elite of Harvard and Yale MBAs who rule the country, and a small elite of M.I.T and CalTech scientists who make lots of scientific patents, but these groups represent 0.00001% of the country's population, and I think that's hardly enough to make the U.S First World-Cigarette Man
