Jay Cutler - should of won in 2001

guy's jay killed ron in 2001...

my question is if wolf kill's jay on friday will he became MR.O or will the judges as usual find there way around and fix things on sat?!

Ahhh yes the fridge's lost "victory" over Ronnie in 01.

Jay looked good from the front but Ronnie made him look like a child in all the back shots.

Jay failed the diuretic test, coming back positive for 5 different drugs.

If Jay ever really did get screwed out of a Sandow he sure as hell got paid back for it last year's debacle.

Coleman's gut is pathetic.  Perhaps if Jay had won then it would've signaled a real judging change for the decade. :-X

Ronnie was so fucking owned there. Jay was his best ever with not a single flaw. Watching that just confirms why Jay won the entire prejudging. Even when they are walking away you can see Jay's back is bigger and wider than Ron's. Shawn Ray looking pissed off as usual.

i agree...! but i still think it was so unfair. he was clear cut winner. although i'm not a fan of his physique

Someone, someone with a shred of credibility explain to The Beef ( body part by body part ) how Jay should have beeten Ronnie. Cause The Beef just don't see it.

I have to agree, ronnie was huge - only thing cutler had on him was gut and conditioning.

I remember being at the show and have seen many videos and pics....

Jay was cleary at his best and his conditioning was better than Ronnie's.  The only pose Jay beat Ronnie in was abs and thigh. Ronnie still better because of the muscle he carried and how he carried it.  I think because Jay made so many improvments, it caused mass histeria and people were pissed that he didn't win it, kind of like Gunther and Wolf.  If you look back now you can see Ronnie is CLEARLY better.  The only thing I disagree on is the judges saying Ronnie came back during the posedown which is an unscored round.  Jay's best can't beat Ronnie's 95%.

That's just one person's opinion. You've denied first hand evidence supporting Yates for years now  ;) So STFU and take your own advice.

Jay won the entire prejudging aka he won Mr. Olympia.....Ronnie must have been servicing uncle Joe quite well back stage  :-X

BB.com: So I guess you just have to live with that until next year. According to the judges, you beat Ronnie in the Muscularity and Symmetry round and he beat you in the posing rounds. So you had the better body, but he posed better? Shouldn't the best body win?

Jay looked great, but Ronnie deserved the win.

I don't know why people go on about 2001 so much. Jay looked good, but Ronnie didn't look that bad.

Jay should have won based on the fuck up by the judges...As good as Jay looked, Ronnie should have easily won the show...From the back it wasn't even close...But if i were Jay, i would have been upset...I just think during the show, the judges were to impressed by the change Jay made to his body(came in leaner then usual) but in the end, they did right by giving the nod to Ronnie...

cutler was not flexing there. it was clear on the clip- i believe after pre judging cutler was 6 ron 9 for the two rounds...
but that what i call knock out!

Ronnie looked fine except the gut, he was huge and cut without being a mess of torn parts...there have been far less deserving Mr. O's.
And again look at the video of their back poses together, no contest Ron dominates and he might have been holding some water but his chest, delts and arms where still way more ripped than Jays...quads & abs was another story though but not enough to take the title in IMO and the judges.
