GM doesn't own AM General, but they market the HUMMER Brand. If that is sold, then any marketing that Gm was caple of doing will be severed. And If they are bought out, by say, Tata Motors it might be detremintal to the HUMMER Brand or the H1 as well. Besides, AM General has caught flack for the H1 as being a inferior product on the street and on the battlefield. It needs to be severely redesigned and fast.
