I've been to O from 99-03. I've been overseas ever since (until now).
My wife and I spent $1200 for VIP tickets in 00. We were in the 3rd row a little off to the left. Video and pictures don't do these guys and gals justice. It really is unfreaking believeable the size and conditioning they are able to achieve. They gayest thing ever was during "half-time" show they brought the F UCKING VILLAGE PEOPLE!! My wife gave me this weird look when they came out like, "What kind of weird shit are you into?" Ms. Olympia is and fitness was boring. The only thing cool about it is the Mr. O prejudging and finals. Oh yeah back then, (I don't know if they still do it) they had a eat with the Olympians after the show. That sucked. These guys had just dieted for XX weeks the last thing they wanna do is be hounded by fans who ask them questions when they're trying to eat. Not worth the money. The best thing was the EXPO back when it was at the Mandalay Bay (use to be free but now I hear it's 10 or 15 dollars and it's alot smaller) and the pre-judging and finals for the O.
