the owner of my gym is so infuriating!!! basically, my gym is full of alot of stuff, and most of it not very useful
theres a huge amount of machines, dumbells, 2 squat machines and 2 pulley machines basically, i have been asking for the last couple of months for a straight olympic bar....and he basically point blank refused to get one! I
i've been asking for a power rack, but recently have been aiming a little lower and thought a bar would do for now so i could at least deadlift and press, but his basic (shit) arguments against getting one were that:
a) it would encourage the wrong sort of people to the gym
b) it was dangerous
c)people would try and bench with it
d)it takes up too much room
e)the staff would have to put away the weights and some other crap
basically, he was assuming that all the people in his gym were morons and he wasn;t going to even give them the option of a proper workout unfortunately i still have 6 months left on my contract bugger
