The option of a liberal or a neoconservative are both no good in my opinion.  I would have selected Ron Paul who followed the constitution strictly.

I like Ron Paul, but there is no Singular and ultimate way to follow the constitution.  I suggest you read the whole thing.  You have to realize the document is VERY vague and purposely so.  Interpretation will always change and that is its true beauty.
