Steve Stone - RIP
« on: September 26, 2008, 04:21:38 PM »
Just got a call that Steve Stone died at the Olympia.  Steve is the man who has been setting up the stages for the IFBB and NPC for several years.  It appeared it was a heart attack.

Steve Stone is the guy in the background. The big muscular stud on the left is Michael himself.

Yes he was found in a pool of blood but I was told they didn't see any kind of cuts or anything but from his head maybe when he fell.

Steve Stone : Very nice human being most important he was a father and a husband.  I had the pleasure of being in Steve's presence for the last 5 years first at the amateur level and now as a pro and he alway's made me feel like I had a right to be there. Even when I was 32 out of 33 at the 2004 USA he treated me just like the guy that won . I knew him as an expeditor and he conducted the athlete meetings. I just saw him at the Atlantic City and I thought here he is again he's everywhere. The sport has good/bad traits all can be argued but dont take the negative and taint the image of a 100% class act because he deserves better than that and so does his family and legacy. I'm no writer , obviously and I'm too lazy to even puncuate sometimes but I try to share the "TRUTH" and Steve was a good man.
Any untimely passing is sad. Because of Steve I'm reminded to love the ones your with!life is short and it is a blessing A.D. CHERRY
love and prayers to Stone family
