He didn't lose the debate based off that last comment. He won decisively when it came to discussing the issues.

Dismiss any poster who said either candidate dominated as completely partisan and not worth debating. Both candidates did what they needed to do - Obama appeared "Presidential" and held his composure and kept his stammering to a minimum. McCain avoided looking completely old and out of touch and gained momentum in the last hour.

It was a draw, which benefits Obama, since he is leading at the moment.
