How do you deterine who are the sheep, and who are the shephards?
Remember you have guys like Coach who seriously believe that Palin knows more about energy than anyone else in the USA, because mccain said so. They believe that she is, as mccain claims, THE MOST QUALIFIED candidate available.
There are people who "buy anything their guys says" on both sides of the political spectrum.
Unfortunately, Palin started off very "vice presidential" and has been on a downward spin since...there is no way to spin that. Unfortunately, in such matters not many are intellectully honest with themselves. You want "change"...and would take cancer over a toothache. That's the nature of these things. No matter how McCain performs, he will not be able to sway those who have made up their mind that they want "change" at any expense.
To them/you it is irrelevant that the man for whom you are voting has little experience and his voting record in Congress is shameful. He has absolutely no foreign policy experience and had it not been for the campaign "trips" abroad, he would in essence be a tabula rasa in such matters. It doesn't matter that he became a senator by killing off all opponents on technicalities. You forgive him for attending the rantings of a racist pig for 20 years...would you feel the same had a Presidential nominee attended KKK meetings? How is that different. Reverend Wright honored Farrakhan...a man who said Hitle was a great man. It doesn't matter to you that a headhunter would not recommend him for any job due to his lack of focus in one area and constant jumps to other fields. Despite what he says, Obama's voting record on increasing middle class taxes is undeniable. Do you believe him now...despite his record? More to say...no time.
Obama will not be the kind of President that could take that "3 AM call"...he fumbled on Russia's aggression in Georgia and his immediate reaction was that BOTH sides should show restraint. If the world was comprised of Buddhists I may consider him for the job...until then I am voting for a real man who can make hard decisions immediately and without hiccups.
