why the hell would he say of course? you can even hear horseshit. but it doesn't bother me. The last thing I would have a fit over is McCain saying horse shit. It does show his temper and Obama let him off easy. The other option is he didn't know who Spain's president is.
Personally, I don't have a problem with a wouldbe (or in McCain's case wannabe) head of state unafraid to call something horseshit if he thinks that's what it is. However, in this case, I think it was completely inappropriate for McCain to do so primarily for 2 reasons:
- 1). - He knows it's true and he said what he said
- 2). - This was an internationally televised Presidential Debate. He knew little kiddies would be watching
If you want to call something horseshit, do it in a closed room of adults, not in an internationally televised debate.
Someone posted a Youtube of him hedging on speaking with the President of Spain.
It was clear he
didn't know the reporter was refering to the President of Spain at the time.
Then upon realizing it, rather than admit his momentary gaffe, ...he tried to play it off. Not a good sign.
Obama let him off easy throughout alot of that debate, ...and in fact he's done it throughout the entire campaign.
That's ok. He's taking the high road, ....saving the pwnage for November 4th
