In a fair world judged by people with eyes yes, in the IFBB Judge's world, I doubt it, Shawn didnt have any gut so likely no.

I'd say no in today's standarts.
Shawn was drier and had better details and taper, but Dexter would be too thick and would beat him from the rear

honestly I dont think so

If its true that Dexter weighed in at 235lbs than it means he outweighs a prime Shawn Ray by 25lbs and is shorter than Shawn!
Shawn at his best was 206-210, any higher and he couldnt hold his amazing condition

I think Shawn beats dex in every pose from pretty much every angle.

better quads
no inverted taper.

Shawn must be a little sad that the judges finally awarded a quality over Mass physique, but that they never did that for him. If the judging criteria that was used last night was used in Shawn's day, he may have won at least once.

Shawn used to look great.

The drug combos are different now.
If he responds well to the slin megadosing he have a chance.

If he look like he did years ago, then he would have a hard time.

Dexter is a tad shorter, bigger, wider, fuller, with bigger
traps, delts, legs and arms
not much diff in conditioning.

Dex delts look 20%bigger than Shawns Delts.

Shawn would look hard as nails but flat in comparison.

I think Dex would take it.
