Anyway, great game played by the Ravens. They showed they belonged among the NFL's best. Losing in overtime sucks even though they should have been put the game away early in the third quarter. Hard to do when you have a rookie QB.

Flacco looked good with throwing his first TD pass of the season. Showed a lot of poise out there with no INT's against a great defense.

We'll meet again in Baltimore. Different story next time.

haha right our running game is gone because we lost a rookie that started 3 quarters

parker will be back and he was not overworked last year, he got his foot caught in the turf at st. louis and would've led the league in rushing if not for that

we lost to the jags due to poor special teams play and 3 int's from Big Ben that were almost as pitiful as the int he threw to ngata, which is the only reason yesterday's game went to overtime

You don't know all of your facts when it comes to why Flacco choose to go to Delaware rather than stay at Pitt. Had nothing to do with being outplayed by Pitt's Qb's. It was a preference of wanting to play in a wide open system that could showcase his natural abilities as a pocket passer. Nowadays, Pittsburgh has a run-oriented offense. Wannstedt has always had that philisophy. He was like that as coach of the Bears. Most defensive minded head coaches prefer a run-first style of offense.

Pitt hasn't had much of a passing game since Larry Fitzgerald when there. And they certainly haven't had a great QB since Marino was there in the early 80's.

Tough loss for Baltimore.

They had control of that game up until the final 2 minutes. As usual, the offense let them down again. You can't keep putting pressure on your defense by only scoring 10 points.

Matt Stover is looking like shit. He missed a 45 yarder in that game that he normally makes. I believe he's 4 of 7 on the year. he's 40 years old now. Might be time for the Ravens to draft a kicker in next year's draft.

But, reality sets in once again. Rookie coach and rookie QB. The Ravens are rebuilding.
