False, the SLR is auto, with clutch-less f1 style shifters on the wheel. With that much power, tc and an auto tranny is the best bet for most drivers.  Most people couldn't handle that kind of power in manual form.

damn, I love manual transmission too much to be driving a beast like that in automatic. I bet you the ferrari F50 will destroy that mercedes in any giving day

Right, but unless you race cars, the chances of you driving a car with that much power, and not crashing and killing yourself is very slim.  Cars with very high hp, tend to be able to spin the wheels at high speeds, losing traction, and causing you to spin if you dont know what you are doing.

The F50 was one of the greatest cars ever.
