The guy is almost 40 years old he looks pretty good, he doesn't even compete anymore.  Why would he want to stay so huge.  Besides, Gunter had a bone infection on one of his legs less than a year ago, he came very close to having it amputated.  There is a time in anyones life when they lose the drive.  You said you use gear, so if bodybuilding is all drugs why dont you even look close to the size of gunter, and he's off!
