The Anchor says "Barack Obama didnt deliver like he said he would, 98 democrats didnt vote for the bill"   In comes a Democratic Strategist to PWN... He says...  "Obama was supposed to deliver 120 democratic votes, 142 democratic Representatives voted for it, McCain was supposed to deliver 100 Votes, 68 voted, who didnt deliver???"

John Boehner went on TV and admitted that 12 of his men didn't vote as they should have, and taht is why they lost the vote.  He and pelosi had an agreement that each party would take a fraction of the hits with their constituents.  Then some of the repubs changed their mind - decided they loved their country/job more than party duty.  Good for them@!


And I betcha a lot of people are sitting at home tonight saying "wow, the world DIDN'T end after all"

It does insert an interesting dynamic into the race though.

On the one hand Barack can claim credentials as being the one who is able to get things done, ...but does he really want to do that?

Mccain on the other hand, is shown to be a man who cannot get the job done, ...but at the same time he can say Republicans are all for the people. Problem is... he's got the wrong running mate, and we all know he's got one foot in the grave.

Everytimes the goverment has done something the markets rebounds then falls flat. They need to let this ride and correct itself. Also they need to undo what was done in 99 that allowed this to happen.

I'm siding with Ron Paul on this one. Every time the government intervenes, it just prolongs the suffering and fucks everything up worse. Not passing this bailout is the way to go.

obama is just letting mccain talk.  everyone knows mccain punked out on the debate, then didn't do shit on the bill.  When Obama and Bush and Mcain were in the room, Obama laid out his points, then said to mccain "What do you think, Sen Mccain", daring him to take a position.  McCain remained silent and never committed to a position.
