No, he would have been the 2007 Olympia champion.  Everything happened this year exactly the way it should have.

Victor is old news, there is no way he will be able to compete against Wolf or Heath.  Victor is never as dry and maxed out in size.  Wolf and Heath still have lots of time to improve.  Vic will be top 5 material at the O but never a champ imo.

Old news?  He got 2nd at the Olympia and should have won in his last contest appearance.  Let's see the man back onstage before writing him off. By the way, he looks like a monster these days and is probably all the better from not having competed for awhile.  This whole injury might be more of a blessing in the long run.

Your posts are always good...Relentless.  Vic edged Dex at the Arnold.  What makes you think it doesnt get reversed in 2009...given both Vic and Dex come in on the money...but we know Vic is the better body.  Phil dont have enough to match up to Vic at 90%...just better structure on Vic.  Where did the Gift come from anyway?  Dex defeating Vic, the bigger bber who falls more in the mode of a smaller Coleman, is the key to selling Phil as a monster slayer.  If Phil is the heir...how in the world can he defend multiple yrs against bigger men with better structure?  Politics in reverse now.

Thanks, Div!  Phil and Dex can't beat an 100% Victor.  It will be interesting to see how Vic looks returning from this long layoff, as he will have been out of commission for a year and half when he finally gets back onstage at the 2009 Arnold.  Look at the structural difference here between Vic and Dex.
