Ugly backs might not be as marketable to everyone, but Ronnie is pretty much to thank for what the average gym rat knows about bb now days through his inspirational videos and humor neither of which Dexter or Jay can duplicate.
As far as promoting bb to the masses, positively or not, there's Arnold then Ronnie and everybody else is basicaly unrecognizable to the general gym population. A lot of people know of Jay too cause of muscle tech and the fact that "he's the reall big white dude".

Hmmm, there may be truth to this, but conversely, they have black "athletes" on the cover of ESPN, Sports Illustrated and they sell. As a matter of fact, the current Muscle and Fitness magazine has a black NFL player on it, and I have seen people pick that up and buy it.
