It was leading question which would have certainly cascaded into more detailed questions designed to entangle.  She was smart to avoid it.

Nobody really cares what newspapers Sarah Palin reads.  The tone of the interviews from Couric and Gibson was an embarassment - and I'm not a Palin fan.

I read newpapers, too.   I could also easily misremember or forget the names of particluar writers/stories who might be asked in follow-up questions.

It wasn't a simple question.  It was an attempt to entrap.  If you can't at least admit this, you're too blinded by your anti-republican stance to discuss it with.

All the questions asked have multiple layers.  Do you actually think Couric was asking the question because anyone reallly gives a shit what newspapers she reads?  And, given that, do you really think she wouldn't be able to answer the questions at face value if she wanted to?
