Bingo. I was just going to sputter off things like the pollens found in ice cores, corals, ESR, etc... beat me to the punch and brought fourth many other methods of dating that I didn't even know of. There's no fucking doubting it. The earth is 4 billion years old. How can anyone argue otherwise? If they do argue otherwise and they're genuine about their doubts and not just being pessimistic, I feel sorry for them.
Blind faith in science or religion is bad... but I mean, c'mon. We have facts, they have faith. I'm going to err on the side of caution and go with cold, hard, facts. But again, if I'm wrong I want a welcome package that includes an instruction booklet, a Bible that's updated for 2009, a secret decoder ring and assurance that I'm not going to burn in hell for all eternity. Until then, I'm not holding my breath.
