yes there is defiantly a difference.but I disagree on which one is more severe. The Church should be taxed if they make any political statement period. If they are not they are in vialation of the constitution.second I personal know a couple parents that did not agree with a specific schools policy's.And have there kids home schooled.I also know others that have placed there kids in alternative schooling.you are wrong that the Gov will come after you for deciding how your child is educated. All this being said I have three kids. All in public schools and never had anything remotely negative happen that involved what the idiot that started this thread claims.
right but what about those parents that work and cant home school or that dont have enough money for alternative schooling? The government requires that children recieve an education and in doing has the obligation to not influence the children in ANY direction politically. Like i said earlier this is not cool anyway you slice it and if this was a republican email you can bet that many ppl on this website would have blown this thread up just like they did on the church thread. you will notice however that most of those who posted on that thread havent commmented on this one.
I didnt mean deciding on how your child is educated but if your child decides hey im not gonna listen to this shit and gets up and walks out they will get in trouble now yes of course you can decide to educate your children in another manner but the PUBLIC education system should remain unbiased or at least as unbiased as it possibly can.
