I never was really into GNR but looking back now they were cool.

Axl sings on 3 tunes from Sebastian Bachs new cd  which pretty much blows but if your an axl fan I guess it would be worth to check out.

I was too young to appreciate them at their peak, but they fucking rocked.  Sweet child o'mine is a brilliant piece of music.  We need a new band like GNR.

GnR left more money on the table than any band in history

Saw them live only one time many moons ago.......they were fucking great 8)

They did a set where they did all acuistical...sp?   (ala Lies) and it was awesome.  Chicks came out in lingerie to give them Jack Daniels and Buds, and Axl handed us the Bud cans.  My buddy, who was 6'2 and about 260 caught a rose that had an Axl autograph attached to it the same time as a chick that weighed about 110.  They were both gripping it like it was a block of gold when my buddy said "fuck you, you stupid girl I'm taking this home" and then ripped it away from her.  I was never envious of his ability to gain size, but for that one fleeting moment he was my greatest hero.  lol ;D

Blind Melon opened the show and sucked a huge dick.  They got booed so badly that Shannon insulted our city......it may suck, but they sucked like Sasha Grey in a 15 man gang bang

Here's a band making music today that has an old school sound.

Will never happen again.  Great bands such as GNR, Motley Crue, Metallica, Ozzy, ACDC, Judas Priest, and Iron Maiden will all be a memory once they hang the microphone up.  In todays digital world, bands nowadays don't have what it takes to make it to the top or even make decent music.  The fanbase these bands built "back in the day" is the foundation for their longevity.

these guys get hated on, but thats because they've been on top for damn near 30 years (and they're not 50 even, crazy). They aren't the most technical band, but they can drive a beat into the ground with a force that no other band has.  thats rock and roll, not that shredding crap we see so often.  I've never seen a better live band and i've never met anyone who didn't think they were amazing in concert:

And might i add that these fucks know how to write a good rock/pop song.

U2 has a few jams.  I liked them better in 83 maybe.  It was new stuff for the shit that was around.  But yeah they suck pretty much.
