Fucksakes, the woman can't pronounce "nuclear" correctly

Its embarrassing enough that the current president has books and calendars of Bushisms where he speaks like a complete dipshit, we can look forward to many volumes of Palinisms in the future if they get elected.

Why are Americans being so blind not recognizing her idiocy?  By small-town mayor standard, she's ok, but VP standard she so out of her league its not even funny anymore.  Make this joke end already

I agree completely... She's so far out of her league that any idiot can be VP now... She's lowered the bar THAT much.

Not that Bush did the office of the Presidency any favors mind you.

You would rather have some guy like Biden that would spout off at the mouth and possibly start a war with a country with an itchy finger? I'll take Palin over Biden any day. Maybe he could Plagerize someone else's stump speech to make sure he doesn't put his foot in his mouth and start World War III

Are you smoking crack?

EVERY woman who has been in a position of power in the modern age has been involved in a war... Margaret Thatcher anyone?

Women think they have to OVER compensate when they get put in those powerful positions and they fly off the handle to PROVE they're tough.

This is the woman who's a "pitbull" right?

Aren't pitbull's angry dogs?

Elitist is a code word for the right that means well educated.

they'd rather have people who could only get where they are today because of their fathers and grandfathers (Bush, McCain) and perhaps wealthy second wives (McCain).

I'm sorry Tim, how long has McCain been in congress for?

Barring being stuck and tortured in the Hanoi Hilton. It is McCain who is the real elitist. The man grew up as army royalty. McCain has never been part of the middle class in his non-Hanoi Hilton life. You can hate Obama all you want, but lets get real. Palin showed no presidential command what so ever in that debate. The polls showed that even those who will not vote for Obama agree that he came off as Presidential in the first debate. If McCain drops dead how can Palin deal with Putin, Jung, Chavez, and Akmadenijad? Every McCain supporter on this board wishes that Palin never existed. You all were hoping for Romney or one of the other Favorites. And you are convincing yourself that she is the real deal.. Dream on.

Is he an Elitist in the true sense on the word? No. But he wasn't by anymeans poor growing up like he claimed, he said at one point he lived on food stamps, he never mentioned that in his book nor is it documented, but he said it. He went to the best prep school in Hawaii and the best college. Did he ever do without like he claimed? No way, he was privledged.

I like how you twist things up...

He went to a private school in Hawaii that has 3700 students...  That makes you priveleged?  Or does it mean your parents made sure he got into a private school? Do you know the FACTS of why he went there?  I went to a "prep school" for 2 years because I had a High IQ, my family didnt have shit and I didnt fit in with all the other kids becasue i wore walmart shoes and they wore Nike's and Reebok ... I have friends who make 40k a year and their kids go to AMAZING SCHOOLS. And it costs them like 900 a month!!! Why? becasue They go with out to make sure their kids have the best education...

He went to the best colleges(he went to 3 colleges not 1) because of his Grades.

So he was privleged? So he rolled up to college in a Benz? had a couple hundred k in the bank? Skipped class and got As anyways (bush) ???

You are paining Obama to be what BUSH WAS a Priveledged son of a Politician who had sub par grades yet got into Harvard, and still had sub par grades and ended up getting pushed through until he got a masters... was Given a baseball team he ran into the ground and was given the presidency... THAT IS PRIVELEGED... NOT Barack Obama...

Busted, there is 25 year difference between the two. Obama's kids are still children. Politics or not McCain is an established man. There is NOTHING wrong with either Obama nor McCain having what they want. It's very hard to compare someone like that with such an age difference.

I'm sorry Tim, how long has McCain been in congress for?

But according to Tim, it was because of his wife :-\

quote:

In April 1979, McCain met Cindy Lou Hensley, a teacher from Phoenix, Arizona, whose father had founded a large beer distributorship. They began dating, and he urged his wife Carol to grant him a divorce, which she did in February 1980, with the uncontested divorce taking effect in April 1980....McCain and Hensley were married on May 17, 1980, ...McCain set his sights on becoming a Congressman because he was interested in current events, was ready for a new challenge, and had developed political ambitions during his time as Senate liaison.  Living in Phoenix, he went to work for Hensley & Co., his new father-in-law Jim Hensley's large Anheuser-Busch beer distributorship. As Vice President of Public Relations at the distributorship, he gained political support among the local business community, meeting powerful figures such as banker Charles Keating, Jr., real estate developer Fife Symington III and newspaper publisher Darrow "Duke" Tully.  In 1982, McCain ran as a Republican for an open seat in Arizona's 1st congressional district.

so, he started dating Cindy a year before he divorced Carol, married Cindy a month after the divorce.  Went to work for her father as a VP of the company, then ran for congress two years later.   So yeah, his military career is because his father and grandfather were admirals, and his post military career is because of his wife and her money.

those damn facts and their liberal bias

GWB doesn't have the knowledge or the drive to run a successful national campaign.  Rove and Cheney choose him to be their patsy.

the evangelicals had such hope for GW, but he didn't deliver.   And they certainly don't care for McCain, so they threatened to stay home unless he chose Palin.

Bullshit... Age Difference?  What does age have to do with anything? I have friends who are in their 30s worth more than McCain. McCain has been in "public service" his entire life we all know people who have a career in the military and then go right into public office never are rich... they make 100k or so a year and call it a day... His highest salary has ever been in 1 year is $162,500 (2008) he started off as 72,600 (1984)... hes not an attorney, or a DR or a former CEO like some Senators where he could have made a ton of money...

For him to say hes an Avg Joe and Obama is a Elitist... thats rather troubling to me...

mccain was a dull student at college, yes.  Ranked 894 or 899 students - essentially failed, but his dad was an admiral so he was pushed thru.

He gained wisdom to the ways of the world, and is very shrewd.  Up until 2000, he was probably the best candidate for our country.

He's just too old right now.  There are thousands of doctors petitioning him to release medical records - small events lately that have many believing a series of small strokes or whatever.  I'm talking PhDs putting their careers and reputations on the line that are saying this.

He's just too old now.  Campaigning is EASY compared to the rigors of running the world.  You think he's stressed now?  Wait til mccain takes office.  He'll age very quickly.

It's technically six stints at 5 different colleges.  It's true.  Real model of consistency for something as tough as *cough* a B.A. in journalism.

Think Palin doesn't matter?

Mccain is 72 years old, and has had cancer 4 times.

Mccain smoked 2 packs a day for 25 years.

He has degenerative arthritis.
He's had cataract surgery.

Also, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, he's
Arthritic, has had Vertigo.

He's on 6 different medications including for
Kidneys, cholesterol, sleep, blood clots.

And he's about to enter the most stressful job on Earth?

Sounds like he belongs to a lot of "protected classes".........I'll take a que from the dems, be politically correct, and cast my vote for him.

It's a stressful job, but McCain is one guy that has obviously been through much more stressful situations.
