No viruses on Ubuntu (Linux, which is free) either. It runs on any normal PC which have better performance per $/£, plus I can just dual boot Vista for the games and other things.

man, I've worked with both Macs and PCs for a while, there is no such thing as being 100% from viruses. Nothing is 100% proof. But I can tell you Macs are good for what they are. since they don't have a registry like PCs do, so that kind of made them a little safer. I always tell people it depends on what you want to do when buying a laptop. Mind you, 75% of laptops sales are still PCs, Macs have seen a huge surge lately in their sales also, but people are always gonna consider price above everything else. I do love the Qualities of Macs, but I love the flexibilities in Pcs

Thanks guys. The one thing that I never cared for about a pc is all the damn upkeep you had to do with them. The MacBook I got is plenty fast and perfect for what I use it for. The girl who was helping us out said that I really didn't need the MacBook Pro so I just went with this one. So far so good.
