She wasn't owned at all. Every report I have seen has the pundits saying she was far better than they thought she would be. She shocked me last night, and I thought she at worst hung with Biden.

She did better than people thought she was going to do, TRUE. Alot better than what i was expecting.

But thats because everyone was expecting her to basically throw john mccains chances out the window (everybody knows that she is a moron). Did she fuck up John's chances? Nope. In fact, just like you just admitted, she pandered to the conservative base quite well.

That doesnt change the fact that she has no business in politics, at any level (wether it be v.p.,gov.,mayor, city council, or even president of the p.t.a). And it doesnt change the fact that any objective person who looks at the issues, and also analyses the thought process behind her views, would see that sarah palin was owned (by herself) every time she opened her mouth.

Wow! Amazing because CNN and every other Poll I have seen says that she did in fact do better then expected ...

That's all she had to do.

McCain/Palin in a landslide.

She looks super cute, speunky, and 'joe six pack'.

Me?  I don't want a joe sixpack being 1 heartbeat away from holding nuclear codes.  I want someone who has spent their lifetime focusing upon diplomacy and the ways of the world.

Palin just talked about whatever she wanted last night.  As president, she can't talk about mayoring and bake sales when Russia sets up a new Cuba base.
Word! There was a female reporter who hit it on the head. She said something like , "I don't want someone like me being second in command of the country, I want someone 1 step away from being the leader of the free world to be BETTER THAN ME!"
This Joe six pack bullshit she keeps talking about is MORONIC but don't underestimate the stupidity of the American public. Biden crushed her with facts and there were a few questions that she did not even answer. All that was missing from Palin's outfit last night was a dunce cap and the fact that there is anyone who thought she did a great job just proves that people only see what they want to see.  :-\
Palin keywords-  Joe six pack, hockey mom, maverick.  Fucking dullard ::)

The leftist (communist?) msm is working overtime to promote the win of obama. Discredit and reduce the support levels and enthusiasm that has been shown by the right.

As others have pointed out, I would believe a fucking poll until the votes are counted. The ONLY news that I am SURE of is that obama will be pumped 24x7 until the elections commence

Remember the key Supreme Court Seat(s) that may come up over the next 4 years.

She did better than many expected.  I thought she presented herself well.  However, you can see Biden's depth of knowledge is certainly greater.  Definitely a big difference in personality and presentation.  I am more impressed with Biden...but there are many people like him in the house & senate and in general, they have failed us.  Is Palin qualified to be the VP...maybe, certainly not the most qualified pick...but she has good character and can speak to a lot of mainstream people who don't understand the complexities of government.

The one real test that she has had is 22 months as gov of Alaska and that she has done well with an 83% approval rating, which is amazing, the highest of any gov in the US.  However, I would have been significantly more comfortable with Romney or Juliani.

McCain/Palin in a landslide.

If she had actually answered any of the questions...there goes the debate.  McCain in office is bad news for Spain.  Just send the troops through Mexcio because they are right underneath them.  Geo lessons for the man are in order too. Palin will lead the Northern front against Russia.

Americans are so f##kin dumb.  Dont deserve the status of 1st World Nation...based on this worthless election.  A lot of 3rd World Nations would do better with the power and money.  They need Jeb Bush in FL...just in case it comes down to that again.

-she didn't directly answer a SINGLE question except the one about gay marriage.
-that condescending tone of voice and smirk is irritating as hell.  especially so when she struggles to put a coherent thought together.  hell, bush sounds like the president of toastmasters compared to her.

Me = Bob barr 2008.

But, Biden has spent 35 years meeting foreign leaders and knows the world inside and out.  Of all 4 people in the race, he's the one I'd want steering the boat in a stressful situation.  Both he and obam ahave said that in any crisis, obama wants biden in the room to share his wisdom.

I don't know what wisdom palin could give to mccain, I just dont.  how to act cutesy and avoid questions?  Great.
240, you are voting for an ultra conservative, but this whole time I have seen you defend an ultra liberal?

The Q is, are the voters that stupid?

she agreed with dick cheney that the VP has no supervising body.
Then, she said she wants to "ENLARGE THE CONSTITUTIONAL POWER OF THE VICE PRESIDENT!"

Then she said she won't be doing any more mainstream press interviews.

So, let's review... I'm not going to answer any more questions, and I want a helluva lot more power when I get into office.

She is not "hot". I DONT give a fuck that she is not fat and has good hygeine - that doesnt make her hot. She is fuckin disgusting. And mentally retarded. She is supposed to be discussing politics and all she can think about is " I look so cute right now ! " ( go watch her talk and how she is smiling at her self... fuckin disgustingly arrogant piece of trash whore)

She needs to get sent to a prison and get gang raped by a group of 12 of the biggest black men they have at the jail.

only a queer would hate governor Palin

I would vote for Obama if he was more moderate.  I just fear the start of a more socialistic government.  I also fear unchecked control of one political party (the democratic house, senate, speaker, VP and Pres).  Also, some in the democratic party have moved more liberal, where traditionally moderate democrats were the most popular.
Obama's record is very liberal...often there is a big difference in what he says during this election compared to his historical votes, mentors and associates.  He had a lot of socialist teachings and mentors, which should concern us.  I hope he has moved farther away from that than some estimate.

I guess I hit a nerve...me so sorry.  Dont worry.  I'm a registered voter in this great country but I do have International interest South of Mexico which the friendfulness of Obama is important vs the War Monger and financial dumbnut.  I'm not sure how dumb I am...given I'm have got/am getting my education (under and grad) via a Big 12 School but most people think I'm some kind of illegal.  >:(

tbomz...you have a very different take on Palin than most Americans.  I do not see arrogance at all.  Light on experience...yes, different dialect and manner of speaking...yes, best choice for VP....no but I think her personality is very pleasant, caring and refreshing.  Kind of hard for a married mom of 5 to be a "fuckin disgustingly arrogant piece of trash whore".  You just don't like her and thats fine, but I disagree on some of your points and your tone is just as troubling as your acqusations.

You fear a more socialist govt?  Look at the GW is setting is up for on his way out of the door.  McCain has said he always strives to be a dictator!

The Republicans are the biggest liberals EVER right now.

Obama's record is very liberal.

ah man, you cant base Obama's political idealogy off of what is the current norm. Sure, in todays american Obama does SEEM far to the left, but thats because the "center" in todays america is way off to the right (on most issues).
but in reality, judgin Obama based on world politics and common sense, he is OBJECTIVE AND MODERATE.

Obama considers every view point, everybody involved, all possible options; BEFORE making a decision. the fact that most of the time his decision alligns with the democratic party? because the democratic party, in todays america, is in the "true center" of political idealogy.

It depends how you define victory. In her case, she came across as likable and didn't commit any majors gaffes. So, for her, that was a win. Did she actually beat Biden? No. Biden did a better job of attacking McCain, than Palin did of attacking Obama.

In the end, this debate will be quickly forgotten, and will have nothing to do with the outcome of the election.

That said, I found this debate way more exciting.

The bottom line is OBAMA is still going to lose. I read somewhere in the London Free Press that even if OBAMA is leading by a margin of 6 points or better, when it comes to election day and standing at the ballot box the majority of white people are going to vote for McCain because they just can't see or trust a black person running the most powerful and dominant empire, created by white people, of all time (that last part is made up of course). It also said that people will be shocked to see the turn out of white voters at the last minute, it will smash all previous turn outs
