Anyone else see McCain last night when asked about the bailout bill say that the president should veto bills with too much 'pork' in them? Then when asked why he voted for said bill with 'pork' he claimed it was to get things done.
Which is it? This is more proof he is no 'maverick' it's a gimmic seized upon to try to appeal to moderate voters.

When Biden asked Palin what specific differences where were between McCain's policy and Bush's policy she couldn't name one. Not one. She would change tact, smile try anything to not answer. Claim that 'we can't look back' or some other BS about energy in Alaska. Oh and on that anyone realise it'll take 10 more years once drilling even starts in these Alaskan feilds to actually become productive. Seems like a great investment considering the US needs fuel now.
