Rory's physique is what most of us here would love to have. Miss the classic 80's early 90's look. Even the female bodybuilders still looked like females. From Rachel McLish, Lori Bowen, and even Juliette Bergman, they looked like today's fitness models. And at least sounded like women too compared to the female bodybuilders of today who sound like gay men talking.

I took a picture once with Rory when he was watching some tournament I was in at a mall.  All I really remember was his hair and that he was pretty big.  He had a Golds sweatshirt on so I couldn't really see anything and he was with a few other guys.  It was some event in the Valley I think.  I didn't know who he was till someone told me afterwards.  I have never met Matt Mendenhall so i don't know who is bigger

Very wrong bro. Trained with Rory probably a dozen times in Venice in early 98. Joe Valdez used to come down with him. Rory had cleaned off the gear at this time and was pursuing some TV work. Was a lot softer and not as large when we trained. First few workouts we did 100 rep sets. Rory was big into this at the time. Have seen him in this smaller state and was in Golds when the Black and White photos on this thread where taken by the waiting room in Golds by Jason Mathis. TOMMYWISHBONE can confirm my seeing rory many times those days. Tommy and I always spoke with Rory and Mathis. I first met Matt Mendenhall in 1987 at a seminar held at Diamond gym in East Orange, New Jersey. He was way huge and a great guy. But having actually seen both men in person. Rory in the offseason BLEW Matt away. Deal with the fact !

Dude, I know MattMendenhall, and he trained at World Gym in 83, and Rory was NO WHERE enar Matt's size.

Both cats were very big... obviously. Of the two, I've seen Rory off season & still fairly tight and he was huge. I've seen Mendenhall 4 - 5 weeks after a show and he was still vascular and very big but not as big a Rory. That's the way I remember it.
