I never had a problem with his pro career actually. I understand marketing, hype, the people intrigued by his appearence, his internet fights...etc....what happened last night was just a matter or time to be honest. Just sucks even more for him that it was against the last minute back up that he outsized tremendously...etc...but that's another issue.

I see it this way...the guy was given a once and a lifetime "deal" for what he brought to the table and alot of it had nothing to do with MMA (a story to sell, appereance and internet fights...etc). Anybody would have taken that deal $$$$...even me.

that being said marketing followed and sold those who have no clue about boxing, mma..etc(the story sold). Those who never saw or had a fight in a yard, bus stop or ever in their life. Those who think his appearance was menacing, difference...etc....this is all marketing. Remember mike tyson was a tyrant but people of all backgrounds were intrigued by him for some odd reason.

again all marketing. If elite wants to savage anything out of kimbo they'd take him off headliners asap and let him fight even lesser talented fighers THEN either phase him out or hype him back up on a bum win streak so they can get paid again when he gets ko'd again.

The only thing I will give to Kimbo is the fact that unlike 90% he does have the b@ll$ to get in the cage/ring. Other then that I am not a real big fan of his attitude or fighting style.

So that makes him an asshole.  Not many fighters touch gloves.  I have seen it numerous times.  Turning his back at the weigh-in is just hype (hope you would figured that out).  The weigh-ins are notorious for things like this (are you new). Not talking after the fight WOW call the FBI!  Big deal not all fighters talk after their fights especially after they lose.  In fact how many times do you see the loser being interviewed.  And BJ didn't talk after his fight.  Some guys do it some don't.  So honestly, come up with something like he hit the ref or spit on Dana White or something that really makes him an asshole and a bad spokesperson.  I have seen him on all kinds of shows and he seems like a cool guy.

I agree on the turning of the back.  It is disrespectful.  But I also can tell by the way he did it, he did it on purpose.  He wanted to get a reaction out of him.  I wouldn't doubt Dana told him to hype up the weigh-in a little.
