There are a lot of characters in the marvel universe with the power to alter reality.  This does not make Beyonder the be all and end all or in any way the equal of TOAA.

Well, the TOAA could be described as "God," or in this case, Stan Lee.

If Beyonder has control of the story, that makes him equal.

Beyonder also had the power to destroy the space/time continuum.  Had he done that, the Marvel Universe never would have existed. 

He always held back because he wanted to fit in.

Not to hijack the thread, but the Marvel characters that I liked the LEAST are :

Dr Strange - looks like a fag in chinese ribbon pajamas.
The Thing - he was just dull.  and ugly.  I never really liked any of the FF except the Human Torch
Captain America - boring. I hated all his "soldier" talk.

We were having a discussion as to the most powerful being ever created by Marvel was.

So far, it was between pre-retcon Beyonder (my choice) or Thanos with HOTU.

Any thoughts?

i have to agree with beyonder, the secret war comics were and still are one of my all time favorite stories.

however in a recent illuminati comic it was revealed beyonder was actually an inhuman mutant 

another favorite store of mine is a short 4 issue dc comic called: the weird

Hulk is probably one of the strongest in physical power and hand to hand/melee-range, but there are those with psychic powers and ranged powers and other powers that could be considered more powerful.

For example, a gas could incapacitate Hulkster as well as lifting Hulk, flying away with him and dropping him off in space somewhere.

Hulk would surely win against Molecule Man in a benchpress-contest, but Molecule Man, Xavier, Magneto et al have powers beyond "the bench".

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, a puny man (wolverine) did fare well against Hulk a couple of times.  After all, Wolverine cannot be killed, and his healing factor is more powerful.

Even a normal human being without psychic powers, using mere empathy like Betty Ross or Rick Jones, could defeat the Hulk, soothing him and turning him into Banner.

Which means that, hopefully there will be a spinoff, of that and Hopefully Deadpool will get his own movie...Mofo is liike a dark version of Spiderman and a demented Punisher rolled up in one

yeah heh.. that one picture i posted is twice as interesting as some of the movies they've released in the cinemas.. although Batman and Ironman were ace, Deadpool is definately a character they need to look into more.

yes he did here  and you are mistaken, hulks healing factor is more powerful than wolverines as it too increases in power with hulks anger just like his strength

in wwh, hulk's rage was too powerful for xavier to control, forcing every single x-man/woman to foght the hulk to protect him, they all got bitch sapped ( including wolverine)
