Superman is DC, as is Batman, The Flash, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, andybody from the Justice League to name of few.

Hulk, Thor, Spidey, Daredevil, Captain America, X-Men, pretty much most of the movies that are being made today are Marvel.

I was always partial to Marvel but they are both good quality.

I would stay away from Gods and Celestial stuff like Silver Surfer, Thanos, etc., because likely they'll be throwing out a lot of crap you know nothing about.  I would stick to something basic like Spidey, Fanatastic Four, etc., and go from there.

Hulk weighs far less than a planet, even less than a mountain and all the Hulk can lift is a mountain. Superman juggles planets. The weight of those is far superior to anything Hulk can do. Superman would quickly lift the Hulk and toss him into the sun as he weighs far less than a planet.

No, he can't any longer... That's what Crisis on Infinite Earths did to Supes. It lowered his powers significantly.

It's ok you think so, but I've read the Editors comments about Post Crisis superman and the point was to reduce his powers after his initial 70s power increase.

Remember, the original Superman could not fly either... He could only leap over tall buildings in a single bound.

That's where the phrase came from.

Please note "The Man of Steel" Limited series which was done around 86 I think as a Post Crisis synopsis.

The Man of Steel became the official origin story for Superman from 1986 through the early 2000s. Its changes to the origin story were adapted to other media featuring Superman. Serious question for the hardcore nerds here - what's a good place to start when it comes to reading these comics? Just Marvel comics or is there other stuff, like a series? I'd like to read anything with Superman and the other superheroes being discussed here.

also read planet hulk then world war hulk ( best series ever)

thor has just started a new run - its only 12 or so issues into it so you could pick those up too to get you going.

mighty avengers, new avengers too - most stories in marvel are based around these at the moment.

The Post Crisis superman is a dominating force, no doubt, but he is not stronger.

I love Superman too, but let's just be honest about the facts.

Why do you bring up the Pantheon storyline when that is not the current Hulk today?

Hulk will not revert to Banner today if he is angered... WWH showed that.

what muscle is superman using there ? if he is stronger can you explain in which movements? 

no thought not, because the power of flight is not a strength.

as has been pointed out - he uses a sort of levitation while flying, not strength.
