Levrone was a little off at the prejudging carrying extra water under his skin but he fixed this and came on the next day at the finals in a much better shape.. I believe he was in the 6th place after the prejudging then moved 2 places forward with his better shape the following day.. I am sure if he came in the same shape of the finals from the beginning he would have been 2nd or 3rd but in all cases they wouldn't have given him the title..

Nasserr and Dorian had a great deal of respect for each other. Very classy. Shawn Ray looked pissed @ 3rd, but based on the posedown, he should be lucky he got that place. Kevin was clearly superior.

Priest - Looked like a misplaced little boy there.
Dillet  - Too flat and too smooth.
Ray    - Way to small to hang with them.
Nasser - Shitty back from all angels and by that time you can see his gut.
Levrone - The only one that stands next to Dorian and looks as thick but wasn't ripped enough, not to mention his problematic back.
Yates - Besides the biceps looked really good and VERY thick.

After seeing this video I now understand why Dorian won.  His conditoning was head and shoulders above everyone else and he was the biggest guy on stage.

Dorian was lucky coz Nasser didn't come at his normal 280-285 pounds and came at 270 pounds on an attempt to look better.. I believe Nasser's heavier shape was better and much more impressive.. This was why he increased his weight again at the following contests.. Still at 270 pounds Nasser looked bigger and better than 270 pounds injured Dorian.. Even if we put Dorian's injury aside, his condition here lacked its usual hardness and sharpness.. At 255-260 pounds Dorian's condition was much better than at 270 pounds.. So both Nasser and Dorian changed their normal contests weights here, one decreased his weight and the other increased his weight to meet together at nearly the same weight, Nasser wanted to look better specially in the back area and Dorian wanted to reach Nasser's size or at least to be close to it after seeing how Nasser made him look small at Mr. O. 1996.. Before 1995 Dorian always used to be not only the best but also the biggest man on stage.. Anyway in my opinion this change in weight didn't work well for both of them..

His back is shitty I agree but let me know what do u call Dorian's left deformed arm on that day??.. Don't take it from one side and be neutral.. Both were very good but non of them was perfect.. Even Dorian at Mr. 93 was not perfect..

Weird phenomenon...Dorian almost always looks better on video than in pictures, while Nasser is completely the opposite; Nasser looks incredible in photos from this show, but somehow "in motion" seems less impressive.  Granted, I still feel Nasser wins this on account of Dorian's absurd biceps ruining almost every pose, but I have to admit Yates does appear WAY more impressive on film than in pics.

And yes, physiques such as Ray's, Levrone's, and Wheeler's were perpetually screwed throughout the 90s, I guess Dexter is carrying the flag for those guys now.

to be honest they dont look that much better at all. wolf, freeman, phil,dex, melvin, silvio, jay etc.. are more impressive, when they hit the lat spread it was terrible. levrones back is bullshit as is dillets.
