They just put a 'soccer' highlight in the Top 10 plays of the weekend.

Is that how far we've fallen in this country?

What's next?  A communist President??

Oh, wait, we've already got one of those.

Never mind.  *sigh*  :-\

Is he the guy who was found to be a closet homo?

No, I dont really care for soccer enough to care about that, but wouldnt you rather watch that ho wiggle her hips around the field all day over watching some homos kick some ball up and down like amputee's.

Sorry lets not have anything other than our american sports of NBA NHL and NFL in the top 10  ::) Knowing as you are the only country in the world that takes 2 out of those 3 seriously

Maradona was famous as well for booting the ball 50yards in the air then staying in exact same spot waiting for it to fall the booting it again. He could do this lots of time without moving from the bspot, his ball controol was that good.

His skill is still awesome. i had relatively little skill in football. My speed and strength and particularly power got me through

I played midfield

Nets or forward. I was a good keeper. Thoiugh couldnt play high standard games as a forward, more 7 a side or 9 a side. Had fantastic speed and strength. Just nowhere near enough skill.

cool,

I'm not going to say I was great but I have above average skills. Many more people better than me. Being a midfielder I could run to. Although there were some years where I was just out of shape. I didn't like playing when I was out of shape, then everything was off.

I know the feeling. Its frustrating when ur not fit and you cant do the things taht came so naturally.

Like i said my skills were shit but was massive for a football player so it helped and sdespite it i was very fast.

At lunctime in school we played football every day. For teh last 20mins maybe 100-150 would watch the game after they had their own lunch. Made it so competitive.

I could also throw a football around 50yards which was weird as fuck. As a kid i got the technique perfect one day and just never forgot how to do it. Was almost freaky lol

talking about this makes me want to play again.  :)

I haven't played competitively for 6 years. I might play indoor this winter. To get in shape for the summer.

We're already living it, my friend.

This country cannot be saved until the two-party system has been destroyed and all their leaders have been tarred and feathered in the streets.
