Has the great Ron Avidan ever competed?
« on: October 06, 2008, 12:10:24 PM »
Back in the days he used to be a stud.
I wouldnt be surprised if he was in great shape too.
He still has the thick back. probably from heavy deads and rows.

Ron's a huge man in person.  Got a little belly going on, but thick back and shoulders.

Ron is no stranger to rack deadlifts, i think we all know that.

I have never competed nor been a bodybuilder.

When I was younger, I used to hike on various trips.

Hiked in Yosemite, hiked up in Kings Canyon National above the tree line, hiked down to the Grand Canyon and back up, hiked to Mt. Whitney. With a 50-75 pounds backpack on.

The pictures and scenery up on those trips was just incredible, something you rarely ever see.  As for the stars at night, never until you are far away from the city, and above the tree line in the mountains do you see how incredible the solor system is.  You can see where the Milky Way is, and you can actually see tons of shooting stars, planets, and more.

But then again, that was a while back....

But yes, I was in great shape then.

don't be so modest Ron.

He used to be a top collegiate level competitor until an unfortunate condom accident caused him to retire and concentrate on raising his family.

Ron > IFBB
Too bad he got bored of the numerous titles and fitness-divas knocking on his bedroom door in ecstasy.
He's reached the Zen of living and dedicates his life to getbig.

That's cool. I did that to, in Borneo, and recently in Venezuela. It gives you a different view on this planet, and, yourself. Clean up your inner system.

I don't see a pro bodybuilder hike true the mountains and woods. Can't walk for a mile without gasping for air, they "need" tons of protein, and are too attached to their image in the mirror.
