Saying this like saying lets have a sub 6' NBA or a sub 6' high jump comp. You are born with what you got, deal with it and make the best out of it

Look, the sport has more that its fair share of short bodybuilders.  Yes, these little men (5'7 and under) seem to be drawn to this sport.

The short guys must be given their 'own' class in the shows.

The introduction of a 'short class' keeps the events fair and balanced.

Just look how ridiculous  this sport has become when you put a short ass like Dave Henry next to a Dennis Wolf.

It is time to make this sport fair.  Give the little men their own class!

You do realize that a number of “little men (5’7” and under)" have won the Mr. Olympia (Bannout, Dickerson, Columbu, and the current title holder, D. Jackson) do you not?

Then there are the “little men” who came close to winning it all, placing second at least twice (Ray, Labrada, Makkawy, etc.)

Besides, why do you care about the competitors' height, since you allegedly loathe pro bodybuilding because of its supposed homosexuality?

Being short is fucked up.  I would not trade anything for shortness.

Have you looked in the mirror lately Free Willy?

It's a tough gig being short in our society.

The tall person commands respect.

There is nothing more revolting than seeing a short guy walking hand in hand with his taller girlfriend/wife....ew...just looks soooooo wrong!

And yes, time for the shorties to have their own class.

And in the words of the great/short Frank Zane;

''Franco thought nothing of kneeling at the feet of Arnold when posing''.

Skip the height/weight classes.  Just give them a stool to stand on when they pose.   ;D

I can am in getting back into shape.  I would never change anything for being short.  Only little shirt people defend this.  So obviously you are a little man.  Sorry for all the shit you had to go through growing up.  And who are you again...........exactly ::)

I aint going nowhere.  I am 49 and had 40+ years of being in shape and it has helped me go through this period of shittiness.  So please don't worry about me.  I am pretty sure I will live longer than you and most others.  My real parents are well over 80 and my grandma died when she was in her 90's.  So don't worry about me.

what do you think that is some sort of gaurantee that you will live as long?  just last year a 42 year old man in my area dropped dead and his parents were in their 80's

and did your parents and grandma weigh more than 300 lbs?

i weigh a little less than 200lbs, find me a doctor that will tell you that you'll live longer than me, i dare you ;)

The "shorties" don't need their own class, because, last time I checked, one of those "shorties" JUST WON THE MR. OLYMPIA.

Since when did Frank Zane become short? Average height is 5'8"; Zane is 5'9" (the same height as Jay Cutler). If Zane is "short", that makes your posts even more ridiculous, as it bump the tally of "short" Olympia winners to seven:

Scott (5'8")
Zane  (5'9")
Columbu (5'5")
Dickerson (5'6")
Bannout (5'7")
Cutler (5'9")
D. Jackson (5'6")

That means the MAJORITY of the Mr. Olympia winners are, by your standards, "short" (if you consider Zane, at 5'9" as such). If you go by your original claim of short bodybuilders being no taller than 5'7", that still means that a third of the Mr. O champions were "shorties".

So, once again, WHY are you whining about short bodybuilders not be judged fairly? And what difference does it make, since you claim they're all appealing to homosexuals, anyway?

Average height for men in the US is 5'9".  (See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_height and http://pediatrics.about.com/cs/growthcharts2/f/avg_ht_male.htm.  This source says that the median height for US men is 5'8.5".)

And it's usually bodybuilders who are a few inches above or below average that do well. The shortest Mr. Olympia was 5'5" Franco Columbu. And, there's only one Mr. Olympia over 6 feet tall, Arnold Schwarzenegger (6'2").

Earl lets compare blood tests.  I will take my latest and you take your latest and lets compare.  Since you are in such unreal shape yours should be better than mine in every category.  What do you say big guy.  You have a scanner dont you.
